Species: P.‭ ‬alticeps,‭ ‬P.‭ ‬brinki,‭ ‬P.‭ ‬brodiei,‭ ‬P.‭ ‬maccabei,‭ ‬P.‭ ‬pugnax‭ & ‬P.‭ ‬robusta.
Diet: Carnivore.
Size: Skulls about‭ ‬25.5‭ ‬centimetres long.
Known locations: South Africa.
Time period: Permian.
Fossil representation: Skulls.

       Prorubidgea was a genus of gorgonopsid that lived in what is now‭ ‬South Africa.‭ ‬Prorubidgea was a predator of other creatures,‭ ‬and was named for its similarity to the genus Rubidgea.
