Diet: Piscivore.
Size: Uncertain die to incomplete skull material,
but a 2 meter wingspan has been suggested.
Known locations: China, Liaoning Province -
Jiufotang Formation.
Time period: Barremian to Aptian of the Cretaceous.
Fossil representation: Partial skull and incomplete
post cranial remains.
Longchengpterus has been suggested to be a junior synonym to the pterosaur Nurhachius. As such, the future of Longchengpterus as an independent genus is uncertain.
