Species: P.‭ ‬minor,‭ ‬P.‭ ‬roggeveldensis,‭ ‬P.‭ ‬vanwyki,‭ ‬P.‭ ‬parvus.
Diet: Carnivore.
Size: Skulls roughly about‭ ‬25‭ ‬centimetres long.
Known locations: South Africa‭ ‬-‭ ‬Pristerognathus Assemblage Zone‭ (‬Beaufort Group‭)‬.
Time period: Capitanian of the Permian.
Fossil representation: Partial skulls.

       Pristerognathoides is a therocephalian therapsid noted for its similarity to the genus Pristerognathus.
