       Polesinesuchus is one of a growing number of aetosaur genera that are steadily being discovered from Triassic aged rock formations in South America.‭ ‬Polesinesuchus is a stagonolepid aetosaur,‭ ‬meaning that it was more similar to genera such as Stagonolepis.
