Named By: M.‭ ‬F.‭ ‬Ivakhnenko‭ ‬-‭ ‬1995.
Classification: Chordata,‭ ‬Synapsida,‭ ‬Therapsida,‭ ‬Biarmosuchia,‭ ‬Microuraniidae.
Species: M.‭ ‬minima‭ (‬type‭)‬.
Diet: Carnivore.
Size: Skull reconstructed to be about‭ ‬5‭ ‬centimetres long.
Known locations: Russia.
Time period: Wordian of the Permian.
Fossil representation: Partial skull.

       Microurania is a genus of biarmosuchian therapsid that lived in Russia during the Permian.‭ ‬As a biarmosuchian,‭ ‬Microurania is expected to have been a predator,‭ ‬and given the small size of the holotype skull,‭ ‬possibly of smaller vertebrates.
