       Lycosuchus was a genus of therocephalia therapsid that lived in South Africa during the Late‭ ‬Permian.‭ ‬Lycosuchus would have been an active predator of other vertebrates,‭ ‬and is particularly noted for having two enlarged canine teeth in each side of the upper jaw.
