Known locations: China‭ ‬-‭ ‬Jialingjiang Formation.‭
Time period: Early Triassic.
Fossil representation: Skull and partial post cranial skeleton.

       Eohupehsuchus is a genus of hupehsuchian reptile that lived in China during the early Triassic.‭ ‬The‭ ‬name Eohupehsuchus means‭ '‬dawn Hupehsuchus‭’‬,‭ ‬a reference to its similarity but earlier appearance to the Hupehsuchus genus.
