In Depth

Borealosaurus is a genus of titanosaurid dinosaur that lived in China around the boundary of the early/late Cretaceous.‭ ‬Though only known from partial remains,‭ ‬Borealosaurus has been interpreted as being potentially related to the better known Opisthocoelicaudia.‭ ‬In addition to this the Japanese titanosaur Fukuititan has also been interpreted as a close relation to Borealosaurus upon the basis of similarities seen in the caudal vertebrae of these two titanosaur genera.
