In Depth
Borealosaurus is a genus of titanosaurid dinosaur that lived in China around the boundary of the early/late Cretaceous. Though only known from partial remains, Borealosaurus has been interpreted as being potentially related to the better known Opisthocoelicaudia. In addition to this the Japanese titanosaur Fukuititan has also been interpreted as a close relation to Borealosaurus upon the basis of similarities seen in the caudal vertebrae of these two titanosaur genera.
