       Not much is known about Baalsaurus other than it is a genus of titanosaurian dinosaur that lived in South America during the late Cretaceous.‭ ‬Baalsaurus is named after the‭ ‬Baal fossil site,‭ ‬which is named after the ancient‭ ‬Phoenician god Baal.‭
