       Aegyptonycteris is a genus of bat that lived in Egypt during the Eocene.‭ ‬Though only known form partial remains,‭ ‬Aegyptonycteris seems to have had an omnivorous diet,‭ ‬revealing that as the bats evolved,‭ ‬they were relatively quick to adapt to different ecological niches.
