Partial remains of several individuals.

In Depth

       Aleodon is a genus of cynodont that lived during the Triassic.‭ ‬The type species A.‭ ‬brachyrhamphus is at the time of writing known only from Africa,‭ ‬whereas the second species A.‭ ‬cromptoni is known from South America.‭ ‬Aleodon existed a time when the continents of South America and Africa were still joined.
