       Tonganosaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived in China during the early Jurassic.‭ ‬Tonganosaurus is seen as being similar to Omeisaurus,‭ ‬and both are classified as mamenchisaurid sauropod dinosaurs‭ (‬similar to Mamenchisaurus‭)‬.
