       Platalearostrum is an extinct genus of dolphin that lived in the waters of what is now the North Sea.‭ ‬The first fossils of Platalearostrum were dredged up by a fishing trawler,‭ ‬and they show us that Platalearostrum probably had a balloon shaped head.‭
