Name: Sonidosaurus.

Named By: X.‭ ‬Xu,‭ ‬X.‭ ‬Zhang,‭ ‬Q.‭ ‬Tan,‭ ‬X.‭ ‬Zhao‭ & ‬L.‭ ‬Tan‭ ‬-‭ ‬2006.
Classification: Chordata,‭ ‬Reptilia,‭ ‬Dinosauria,‭ ‬Saurischia,‭ ‬Sauropoda,‭ ‬Titanosauria.
Species: S.‭ ‬saihangaobiensis‭ (‬type‭)‬.
Diet: Herbivore.
Size: Estimated about‭ ‬9‭ ‬meters long.
Known locations: Mongolia‭ ‬-‭ ‬Iren Dabasu Formation.
Time period: Campanian‭ ‬of the Cretaceous.
Fossil representation: Partial remains.

       With an estimated length of about nine meters long for the holotype individual,‭ ‬Sonidosaurus was actually pretty small for a late Cretaceous titanosaur.‭ ‬Hailing from the Iren Dabasu Formation,‭ ‬Sonidosaurus may have been preyed upon by tyrannosaurs of the time such as Alectrosaurus.
